Welcome to my website! My name is Don Chan, professional trainer and owner of TK Canine Training Centre. Since I was young, I have always been very fond of animals. Amongst all, I discovered a special bond that I shared with man's best friend - the dog. I am very proud and fortunate to develop my passion for dogs into a rewarding and fulfilling career today.
As a CES Instructor and Certified Advanced and Specialist Dog Trainer. I have acquired over 10 years of experience in the Lower-Mainland, specializing in Dog Obedience Classes. In 1993, I established the TK Canine Training Centre and began to offer a wide range of classes for dog lovers, from obedience to socialization to agility.
Between 1994 and 2001, I published a series of articles in the local daily newspaper and magazine. My writings focused on training tips and grooming techniques for dogs. Due to high demand, I also shared my personal thoughts and experiences to dedicated readers. From 1998 to 2003, I was invited to join the Vancouver School Board and offered my expertise in a course designed for dog obedience. I have also appeared numerous times on television and radio interviews to discuss topics related to obedience and behavior of dogs.
My classes at TK Canine Training Centre are thoughtfully designed for each dog's needs and catered to all types.
